Information on gradings - Condition of Record and Cover

MINT (M) |
The record itself is brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. |

EXCELLENT (EX) |
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover is almost perfect without wear and / or creasing |

|
VERY GOOD (VG) |
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and light scratches. Normal wear and tear on the cover, without any major defects, it's quite ok. |

|
GOOD (G) |
The record is in rather bad condition with some deeper scratches and noise throughout. The cover is more or less damaged with some defects |

Search
There's a lot of possibilities when searching for records at LPCOLLECT
In the "Query" field you can write the name of an artist or the title of a record that you want to search for. If you don't write anything, it will find everything.
In the field "Search in" you can choose which categories the search shall be executed in. If you don't choose one, it will search them all.
With "Result must contain" you can choose if the results will contain all the words or just one of the words. The last one is particularly useful if you are not sure how to spell it.
If you want to see all record in the archive, just press search without writing anything and without choosing a catagory. Then it will show you everything.
You can also choose, if one page contains 10, 30 or 100 titles.
Order information
It's easy to order the records you want.
Use the search function. When you see a record that you would like to buy, just click on the "buy" button to the right
The first time you do this, a popup will tell you that you have put a record in you shopping basket
When you have found all the records you want to buy, click on "Shopping basket" on the menu at the top of the site.
In the shopping basket you can see the records which you are about to buy. You have the possibility of removing some af them from your shopping basket. Press "Check out now" to move on.
Now you will be asked to fill out your name, address etc.
You will also have to fill in three control characters, to be sure that it's not a computer sending the order
Payment is done by bank transfer. When I have confirmed your order you will recieve an email with account number
